Speaker Bio:
Kuang Xu is an Assistant Professor of Operations, Information and Technology at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he has been since July 2015. His research seeks to understand fundamental design principles in large-scale dynamic decision-making problems in stochastic systems, with applications in queueing networks, healthcare, privacy and statistical learning. Kuang received his PhD from MIT in 2014, and was a postdoctoral fellow with the Microsoft Research-Inria Joint Center in Palaiseau, France, 2014 to 2015. He is a native of Suzhou, China.
