Speaker Bio:
Shihong Xiao is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, advised by Ying-Ju Chen. Shihong is broadly interested in knowledge Sharing, mechanism design, and socially responsible operations. Her research is primarily motivated by real world applications in the context of knowledge sharing and e-commerce. Shihong's recent research focuses on the motivations of knowledge sharing, the impact of a firm's review provision format, and consumers' learning process in the presence of two sources of information.
